Acrylic (胶彩)

The acrylic painting technique uses different styles of manipulating with polymer-based acrylic paints. The paint has a shorter drying time and is therefore often preferred on canvas. Acrylic painting is a relatively new technique compared to other painting methods like watercolour and oil. The first use of acrylic synthetic paint was in the 1940s.
